Money Matters

During one very lazy clinic day, I was reading an issue of Moms magazine and got caught up with the topic of finances. In the article, The Road to Financial Independence, Kendrick Chua emphasized the importance of recognizing needs vs wants. A celebrity finance guru said, " We spend the money we don't have, to buy the things we don't need, to impress the people we don't like." I will be the first to admit this is my struggle. The lure of sales just seem to have metal claws that sink into me. When Kate Spade throws a surprise sale I go absolutely crazy. After all the craziness dies, I will  proceed to ask myself , do I really need a new bag? My husband would immediately tell you I don't. After reading Kendrick's article I proceeded to list my debts and its not pretty to look at. It's not enough to bury me deep, but my family is still in a financial situation and I feel embarrassed to have spent on something I don't really need. I am currentl
