Beauty Daydreamer: Digital Traincase

On with my virtual window shopping!

I've put a cap on my shopping to Php 500 a month, because I will admit, I will combust If hold out for such a long time! Haha. I just being realistic, y'all. So I think 500 is pretty acceptable, what do you think?

I've used up this month "credits", and I have created a wish list of sorts when I stumbled into the Digital Traincase website.

Digital Traincase is one of the most popular, and reputable cosmetics seller in the country and most people ( importantly, makeup artists) have vouched for it. I wanted to look into their Nyx line and fell in love with a few things.

I am in a constant search for that makeup brush set, preferably travel size, not exactly pro. I know Charm brushes have quite consistent ratings among beauty bloggers, but the last time I checked their stock over at The Ramp, Shangrila last December they only have the Travel pro set set priced at Php 1,000 which was too much for me. So imagine my glee when I saw this pocket set at Php 500. It constains a powder brush, a big eyeshadow brush, an angled eyeliner brush (which is soooo useful), a lip brush and an eyebrow comb. You're first in my list, baby!

I have Dollface's barenaked palette but I would love to have a travel sized set like this. Not a priority though, cause I still have an Urban Decay Roller Girl palette to break into. For a price of Php300, you can never go wrong with this one!

Nyx lipsticks are all the rage today, but on sale for Php150? Come on!

I'm very partial to red lipstick but with the the price of this nude shade I think I can experiment with this.

Ben Nye is this awesome but ridiculously expensive loose powder, but this is a wish list so I might as well put this in. The only time I can get to use this is when I raid my friend and make up artist Kat's stash and its sooo good! But at Php1,050 a pop. Maybe someone can give it as a gift? Haha. But for me, I will choose a Mac lipstick over this, sorry!

For a person whose lips dry out like a desert, maybe EOS is the one for you. It is pretty pricy though at Php250, but hey, if hollywood stars use this, may it does deserve its expensive status!

I tried this wonder sponge over a makeup tutorial at Kat's place and its really good. Makeup artists are constantly complaining how expensive this is, and now I agree with them! Haha I think I can make do with other sponges out there.

So that rounds up my Digital traincase wishlist! What's yours?

Have a great day!

Inside the Sand Storm

I am standing in  the middle of a sand storm. No cover, no shield. The wind swirls in huge waves around me. It is howling in my ears and pounding me at my back. It is pressing me at all sides. The sand is everywhere, scratching my face, inside my clothes, my shoes. It's massive weight has blocked out the sun, engulfing me in darkness. It pierces my eyes and keeps them from opening. I am pushed to the ground, feeling a sense of dread that it may slowly fill my lungs. I know that the sun is out there, but I cannot see it. I don't know how long before it ends, or if I have the strength to endure it. In the middle of a sand storm. Crying, confused, anguished, determined.  Clinging on a single solid rock. The  Lord  is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  Psalm 18:2 Image source: http://www.vizrt.com/news/newsgrid/35339/Sand_storm_potential_f...
